1. Voluntary donations
ForgottenL is a free hobby project. Donations are voluntary contributions towards hosting, maintenance and development. A donation is a gift: it is not the purchase of goods or services, and you are not entitled to anything specific in return. As a thank-you we credit donation points to your account, which you may spend on the optional in-game gifts shown on the Donation Gifts page.
2. Who may donate
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your country). If you are younger, you may only donate with the verifiable consent of a parent or guardian, who is then responsible for the payment. Only donate with a payment method that belongs to you.
3. Donation points
- Points are virtual, have no monetary value, are not legal tender, and cannot be exchanged, redeemed or withdrawn for money or any real-world value.
- Points are tied to your account. They may not be sold, traded or transferred between accounts, except where we expressly allow it.
- Points are credited after the payment is confirmed by the payment provider. Crediting can take a short while; contact us if it takes more than 48 hours.
- Spent points are not returned if you change your mind about a gift or if the gift is lost through your own actions (for example deaths, trading, deleting a character or breaking the rules).
4. No refunds
All donations are final and non-refundable, in whole or in part, including for unused points, for accounts or characters that are banned or deleted, and if you stop playing. We do not give refunds in money for any reason, except where mandatory law requires it.
5. Resets, wipes and server-side problems
The game world, characters, items and houses may be reset, wiped, rolled back or changed at any time, and gifts may be rebalanced or removed. If a reset, wipe, rollback or server-side error removes or invalidates something you obtained with points, we will restore the points you spent on the affected gifts to your account. Points are restored as points only, never as money, and only for gifts actually affected, as determined by the staff. Points you hold are not removed by a reset.
6. Right of withdrawal (EU/EEA consumers)
Donation points and gifts are digital content supplied immediately. When you make a donation you expressly ask us to credit the points immediately and you acknowledge that, once the points have been credited, you lose any right of withdrawal you might otherwise have. If you have not yet had the points credited, you may contact us to cancel. This section does not affect any mandatory consumer rights that cannot be waived.
7. Chargebacks and fraud
If a payment is reversed, disputed or found to be fraudulent, we may remove the related points, gifts and any benefits, and suspend or ban the account concerned, and we may refuse future donations. Please contact us before disputing a payment so we can solve any problem.
8. Changes and closure
We may change prices, gifts and these terms at any time (the changes apply to future donations). We may suspend or close the server at any time. If the server closes permanently, unspent points expire and do not give rise to any payment or compensation, except where mandatory law says otherwise.
9. Payment providers and taxes
Payments are handled by third-party payment providers under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not see or store your card or bank details. You are responsible for any fees charged by your bank or provider and for any taxes that apply to you.

ForgottenL is a fan-made project, not affiliated with or endorsed by CipSoft GmbH. Tibia® is a registered trademark of CipSoft GmbH. Donating does not give you any right over Tibia or any CipSoft product.
